Verde-Cal combines high-quality calcitic limestone with thCa™, an organic complexing agent that converts insoluble calcium compounds into soluble, plant-available calcium. This unique formulation delivers faster, more efficient calcium movement throughout the soil profile, improving nutrient uptake, soil structure, and overall plant performance.
The addition of Aqua-Aid Penetrant synergizes with thCa™ to promote uniform nutrient distribution, ensuring calcium reaches soil exchange sites for optimal root development and turfgrass response. Only 500 pounds of Verde-Cal produces results equivalent to one ton of standard lime, providing a quicker response at one-quarter the rate of traditional products.
Verde-Cal effectively reduces hydrogen, sodium, and chlorine levels in the soil, improves germination and microbial activity, and enhances nutrient absorption, root strength, and plant resilience. Ideal for turf, agriculture, and ornamental landscapes, Verde-Cal provides a balanced Ca/N ratio and sustained soil health improvement without over-liming or excessive application rates.

Application Rates
To maintain optimum pH and growing conditions, apply VERDE-CAL at 5 pounds per 1,000 ft2or 220 pounds per acre (250 kg per hectare) at least twice per growing season, or as needed. Soil test recommendations should be used to determine liming needs.
To adjust pH, apply VERDE-CAL at 10 pounds per 1,000 ft2 or 435 pounds per acre (500 kg per hectare), or as needed. In most soils this will raise the soil pH up to one full point. Retest and reapply, if needed, at this rate.
