The Verde-Cal Mg dolomitic lime soil amendment is a calcium magnesium carbonate formulation designed to raise soil pH while supplying both calcium and magnesium to correct acidic soil conditions. Verde-Cal MG is a highly available, greens-grade dolomitic limestone granule engineered through a proprietary manufacturing process that transforms the material into a more reactive carbonate/oxide form. This increased reactivity allows Verde-Cal MG to work faster in the soil, delivering measurable pH increases and supplying plant-available calcium and magnesium at one-quarter the rate of standard dolomitic lime.
Independent testing confirms that applying 500 lbs/acre of Verde-Cal MG can raise soil pH by a minimum of one point within 30–45 days, depending on water quality. The enhanced dolomite chemistry improves soil aeration, loosens compacted clay, increases water percolation, and strengthens turf and ornamental plant resilience.

Application Rates
For continued optimal growing conditions, apply VERDE-CAL KMG at 5 pounds per 1,000 ft2or 220 pounds per acre (250 kg per hectare) monthly through the growing season. Soil test recommendations should be followed.
When applying bi-weekly, apply VERDE-CAL K PLUS at 4 pounds per 1,000 ft2 or 174 pounds per acre (195 kg per hectare) every two weeks throughout the growing season
