Vredo Seeder – How it Works
The Vredo Inter-Seeding Principal
Inter-seeding is only useful if the seed is sown directly into the soil. Each Vredo Seeder is equipped with a double-disc system. Only that system guides all the seed into the narrow slot. Every machine is equipped with a compaction roller, that closes the slit and endures good contact between seed and soil.
Water and nutrients have easy access to the seed, this guarantees a quick germination and deep rooting of the injected seed. Research has confirmed that the Vredo Inter-seeding System generates a germination rate of 96%, achieved by sowing the seed directly in the soil at an adjustable depth between 0″ – 1″.
How it Works
The seed is conveyed from the hopper to the cam wheel. This is continuously driven, so the seed is transported over the bottom flap towards a V-shaped edge, which spreads the seed evenly into the seed tubes.
The combination of the double discs, pressurized spring, and the turf guard, makes sure that the seed is being deposited at the correct depth for the most efficient use of expensive grass seed.
