Sam Green, President of AQUA-AID Solutions and Dr. Cale Bigelow, Professor, Purdue University introduces Excalibur™ the next generation, rapid response soil surfactant.
Moisture Management Solution
Hydrating Surfactant
General Details
Aquifer soil surfactant produces and maintains an omni-directional flow of applied irrigation and/or natural rain water. Aquifer has a unique characteristic of producing downward and lateral movement of water (omni-directional), which provides a uniform moisture profile throughout the soil structure for up to 45 days. This allows not only water but also chemicals and nutrients to be distributed evenly throughout the root zone. The end result is less summer stress, reduced wilt, less localized dry spots, and improved re-wetting capability. Aquifer is ideal for dry, compacted and hydrophobic soils and has been designed to work in conjunction with a good water management program.
Aquifer is a non-ionic and environmentally safe formulation of soil surfactants. Aquifer can be injected through irrigation systems and/or tank mixed for spray application.

Application Rates
Golf, Lawns, and Sports Turf
LIQUID:
Maintenance Program
Apply 4 ounces per 1,000 ft² in 2 gallons of water (13 L/ha in 800 L) at 30 to 45 day intervals or as needed.
Irrigate after each application to remove the surfactant from the plant surfaces.
Inject 4 to 6 quarts per acre (9 to 14 L/ha) at 30 to 45 day intervals or as needed.
High Water Repellency Program
Apply 6 to 8 ounces per 1,000 ft² in 3 gallons of water (20 to 25 L/ha in 1,200 L). Reapply at 4 ounces per 1,000 ft² in 2 gallons of water (13 L/ha in 800 L) at 15 day intervals. Once turf conditions improve, apply 4 ounces per 1,000 ft² in 2 gallons of water (13 L/ha in 800 L) at 30 to 45 day intervals or as needed.
Irrigate after each application to remove the surfactant from the plant surfaces.
GRANULAR:
Apply 2.5 pounds per 1,000 ft² (120 kg/ha) at 30 to 45 day intervals or as needed.
Irrigation is necessary to release Aquifer from the carrier. Irrigate before next mowing or leave baskets off.
PELLET:
Apply when hand watering.
