Designed on a smaller platform, the Imants RD 1.3 is a heavy-duty aerator and root zone recycler which can be used on greens and tighter areas where the larger Imants KORO Recycling Dresser will not fit. The RD 1.3 aerates vertically and horizontally, removes the underlying soil from the rootzone, and redistributes soil as a topdressing across the playing surface. This vertical and horizontal aeration mitigates layering and compaction, increases biological activity, and provides topdressing material to smooth the playing surface. The RD 1.3 reduces the amount of new topdressing required, thus saving labor and material costs while promoting sustainable maintenance. The RD 1.3 is best used on loamy to sandy soils.
