The Imants SandCat is a compact, one-pass soil modification system ideal for greens, tees, and sports fields built on loamy to sandy soils. The SandCat moves lightly over the turf, slits the surface to a depth of 6”, and introduces kiln-dried sand to a depth of 5” to improve drainage and enhance the properties of the root zone. The SandCat will inject 1 pound of kiln-dried sand per square foot, equating to approximately 4 pounds of sand for every linear foot the machine travels. The SandCat features overload protection by a torque limiting PTO shaft.
