The Vredo DZ5 Single Compact series is an accurate and efficient range of disc seeders designed for inter-seeding into prepared seedbeds or existing stands of turf. At a spacing of 2 3/4”, seed is placed in a V-shaped slit, at a controllable depth of 3/16” to 1” deep, directly in contact with the soil for maximum germination rate. The slits are then closed by a roller, and a level surface is re-established. The Single Compact series includes precision calibration and a ground driven system, allowing inter-seeding to be completed at speeds between 1 and 12 mph. Seed will be accurately sown at a set rate independent of ground speed. The Single Compact series is 3-point mounted and has four widths available to suit tractor overlap.
