Salt-Aid is soil treatment, carbon-based soil amendment designed to relieve turf stress caused by accumulated salts, sodium, and bicarbonates in the root zone—key contributors to saline and sodic soil conditions. Unlike harsh chemical treatments, Salt-Aid works without harming beneficial soil microbes, making it a safe and effective solution for long-term soil health.
Salt-Aid’s unique organic acid formulation releases insoluble calcium and other existing nutrients already present in the soil, while actively removing undesirable salts. This corrective action helps lower soil electrical conductivity (EC), improve cation exchange balance, and restore nutrient availability for healthier plant growth.
By flocculating poor soil structure, Salt-Aid reverses the effects of poor-quality irrigation water—improving water infiltration, soil permeability, and the turf’s ability to uptake water and nutrients. The result is stronger, more resilient turfgrass and improved performance under salinity and water-quality stress.
- Reduces salt, sodium, carbonate, and bicarbonate accumulation in the root zone while lowering soil electrical conductivity (EC).
- Improves soil structure through flocculation, increasing water infiltration, permeability, and overall root-zone function.

Maintenance Rate: Apply 3 to 8 ounces per 1,000 ft² in 2 gallons of water (10 to 25 L/ha in 800 L) at 30 day intervals or as needed for specific sodium reduction needs.
Curative Rate: Apply 8 to 16 ounces per 1,000 ft² in 2 gallons of water (25 to 50 L/ha in 800 L). 30 days after curative application reapply at the maintenance rate.
Irrigate with sufficient water to deliver Remediator to the soil profile – 1/8 inch (3 mm) or more recommended.
